Words from the president

Welcome to the EUROKIDS Society website.

My name is Isabelle Koné-Paut, a pediatric rheumatologist and the newly elected President of the Society.

Kawasaki disease remains a complex condition with many unmet needs. Among our key priorities are accelerating early diagnosis and preventing cardiac complications in all patients.

Our ambition is to catalyse bold initiatives in Kawasaki disease, foster open and collaborative research, and establish our Society as a dynamic platform for innovation, education, and training. I firmly believe that meaningful progress arises from dialogue across disciplines and generations.

We are committed to building an inclusive community where students, doctoral candidates, and young professionals can benefit from mentorship, opportunities to present their work, and support for their career development.

We warmly invite you to join us, share your ideas, and contribute to advancing knowledge and care in Kawasaki disease.

Please contact us or attend one of our upcoming events — we look forward to welcoming you.
